Ms. Annelisa Gadea, Director, Sales & Marketing
Annelisa Gadea serves as director, sales and marketing for the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau (CAB). Gadea leads the planning efforts for the CAB’s conference agenda and awards show that serves as part of The Cable Show – the main cable industry gathering annually. Her responsibilities also include working integrally with the senior level media staff and daily interaction with CAB members. She joined the CAB in early 2006 as part of the organization’s final transition from informational bureau to full fledged television advocacy group.
Prior to the CAB, Gadea had stints on both the client and agency side. Her experience includes serving as a media planning manager for TV Land and Nick @ Nite/MTV Networks. While there, she developed on-air promotional campaigns, including the first and second annual TV LAND Awards Show and facilitated activities designed to achieve improved ratings while reinforcing brand image. This included the daily interfacing with the advertising sales, creative, marketing and cross channel departments. Prior to MTV Networks, she served as a media planner for MediaEdge:CIA/WPP working with clients that included AT&T, Fort James and Zurich. Her duties included creating targeted media recommendations, competitive analysis and budget summaries for each brand. Gadea also spent time as a communications consultant at Banzai! with a diverse client roster that included fashion, design, jewelry and interactive companies across all consumer segments.
Gadea earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Economics and Business Administration from San Jose State University where she graduated with cum laude honors. Additionally, she completed a Marketing Management Graduate Course at Harvard University as part of the institution’s continuing education division. Gadea and her husband make their home in Manhattan.
