Are Broadcasters' big hits such as Grey’s Anatomy and Dancing With The Stars driving ratings? Among advertisers most coveted target, A18-49, Ad-Supported Cable held its lead in Fourth Quarter 2006 with a 16.1 rating v. a 13.3 for Broadcasts' Big Four. Year after year, quarter after quarter, Ad-Supported Cable ratings continue to grow while Broadcasts' ratings shrink, among key advertiser targets. Consequently Ad-Supported Cable's reach continues to grow while Broadcasts' reach contracts.

Cable’s continuous investment in its programming has benefited consumers by delivering original, compelling and high-quality content that attracts viewers and programming awards. As Cable networks continue to invest heavily in their programming with a projected $19.5 billion for 2008, Cable will continue to win the hearts of viewers and critical acclaim.
