Local Sales Account Executive
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for selling commercial advertising on locally inserted channels.
- Proficient in prospecting via telephone and in person for new clientele.
- Daily completion of sales calls and reports.
- Continual research of potential advertisers’ needs and drafting proposals to satisfy same.
- Entry level opportunity with focus on cold calling and new client cultivation.
- Maintain assigned revenue goals via customer approval of advertising contracts.
- Monitor and collection of accounts aging status.
- Accurate record keeping of advertising territory.
- Assist production on an as-needed basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales, advertising, marketing or other media related sales experience preferred.
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Sales or equivalent experience.
- Highly motivated, positive and capable of working independently.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Solid performer or better.
Must have reliable transportation and current MI Drivers License.
- Successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
