Local Sales Account Executive
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for selling commercial advertising on locally inserted channels.
  • Proficient in prospecting via telephone and in person for new clientele.
  • Daily completion of sales calls and reports.
  • Continual research of potential advertisers’ needs and drafting proposals to satisfy same.
  • Entry level opportunity with focus on cold calling and new client cultivation.
  • Maintain assigned revenue goals via customer approval of advertising contracts.
  • Monitor and collection of accounts aging status.
  • Accurate record keeping of advertising territory.
  • Assist production on an as-needed basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sales, advertising, marketing or other media related sales experience preferred.
  • Prefer bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Sales or equivalent experience.
  • Highly motivated, positive and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Solid performer or better.
    Must have reliable transportation and current MI Drivers License.
  • Successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
