COMPANY OVERVIEW
Rutter Communications Network, LLC is a privately held, multi-media company headquartered in Muncie, IN with interests in television-advertising representation, film and video production, Internet marketing and information-technology support. Rutter operates two distinct divisions including Rutter Media and Fusework Studios.

POSITION SUMMARY
The position of Senior Account Manager is responsible for direct client sales and service, as well as the coordination of client commercial production. The key to success for the position is aggressive daily sales activity that results in monthly meeting of billing and sales goals. Senior Account Managers are also expected to establish client relationships through networking and superior service that results in “raving fan” clients. Responsibilities also include creativity in developing commercial scripts and organization of the production process that meets or exceeds client needs.

POSITION INTERACTS WITH
The Senior Account Manager primarily interacts with other members of the Rutter Media staff as well as semi-regular interaction with members of the Corporate office.

OBJECTIVES
1. Generate client billing to equal or exceed 100% of individual plan.
2. Manage daily sales activity to ensure that monthly sales goals equal or exceed 100% of individual plan.
3. Build client relationships through superior service, which result in a minimum of 30% “raving fan” status and 100% of clients rating “satisfied” or better on annual client surveys.
4. Meet or exceed individual Creative Services, Internet Marketing and Collection goals.
5. Strategic representation of Rutter Media at various community events and activities.
6. Base daily activities on The Rutter Way and Rutter Core Values to ensure that all decisions are made which produce winning results for both Rutter and our clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED
1. Two years outside sales experience or media/agency experience required.
2. College degree (marketing, advertising, communications preferred but not required)
3. Excellent organization and communication skills
4. Ability to independently problem solve
5. Poise, strong communication and presentation skills.
6. Computer skills including the use of Word, Excel & Power Point
7. High marks in the areas of Integrity, Performance, Work Ethic, Professionalism, Strategic Thinking and Community Involvement.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May direct the work of interns, if requested by the Regional Manager

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT OF THE POSITION
The key physical requirements of this positions include the ability to travel daily within the market and, as requested, travel outside the market to meet with current or potential clients; the ability to lift video equipment weighing up to 40 pounds, use of standard office equipment, including personal computers; and movement within a standard office, sometimes with stairs.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations; must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people. Must be knowledgeable of rate cards, and able to answer questions in a professional and friendly manner. Must understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them.
